The look alikes
Chad and Romania
Chad's blue is a touch darker. In a quiz, it is a coin flip and everyone knows it.
Indonesia and Monaco
Red over white, both. Monaco is a squarer flag. Poland is the same colours the other way up.
Norway and Iceland
Same Nordic cross. Norway is red with a blue cross, Iceland is blue with a red cross.
Australia and New Zealand
New Zealand has four red stars with white borders. Australia has six white stars plus the big Commonwealth Star.
Ireland and Ivory Coast
Mirror images. Green at the hoist is Ireland, orange at the hoist is Ivory Coast.
Netherlands and Luxembourg
Luxembourg's blue is lighter, a sky blue, and the flag is slightly longer.
Slovenia and Slovakia
Both white, blue, red with a coat of arms on the left. Slovenia has Triglav and three stars, Slovakia a double cross on three hills.
Mali and Guinea
Same pan African colours, mirrored. Mali runs green, gold, red. Guinea runs red, gold, green.
